Cook along at home and make a healthy spaghetti dinner on Monday, January 4, 2021. Dr. C. Leslie Smith, Director of Integrative and Culinary Medicine at SIU School of Medicine, will be cooking a healthy spaghetti sauce and explaining the health and cost benefits of this over buying premade sauce. Join Dr. Smith and the Chatham Area Public Library on Zoom on January 4 at 5:30 p.m.

This virtual class will cover how to make your own spaghetti sauce and do it with only one pot. Feel free to watch or cook along in your home. This half-hour program will be done by 6 so you can have dinner prepared by then.

Dr. Smith is a dedicated learner and an enthusiastic teacher of all things related to the body and to health. As a physician and licensed to practice Traditional Asian Medicine, she believes in the integration of these different healthcare modalities to find the best healing process and health for a person.

The registration link for this program and the list of ingredients needed are available on the Chatham Area Public Library’s website in the events calendar: www.chathamlib.org/calendar or Facebook page: https://www.fb.com/CAPLD.
