In order to celebrate the Halloween season in a safe and fun way, the Chatham Area Public Library is offering a variety of activities for all ages in creative and different ways this October including:
Halloween-themed Baby Talk Songs: Miss Julie will be back on our Facebook page on Tuesday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 27 at 9:45 AM with Halloween-themed fingerplays, songs, and stories for your little ones.
Candy-themed Virtual Trivia Night: Celebrate the season with a delicious and sweet round of Candy-themed Virtual Trivia on October 30, 2020. The questions will be fun for the whole family, and participants can login any time between 7:00-8:30 PM.
Halloween and fall-themed Take and Make Craft Kits: Stop by the Library’s lobby throughout the month of October and pick up a Take and Make Craft Kit with all the supplies and instructions for creating simple, Halloween and fall-themed craft projects. Available while supplies last.
Halloween Menu and a Movie: During the week of Halloween, stop by the Library and pick up a delicious menu of Halloween-themed recipes, accompanying shopping lists, and a curated list of Halloween movies for the whole family to enjoy. Think of it as a Halloween-themed staycation where the Library has done all of the planning. Can’t make it to the Library? No problem! Our Halloween Menu and a Movie will also be available for download on the Library’s website.
Spooky Cookies: On Saturday, October 31 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (or while supplies last), stop by the Library and pick up a Halloween Cookie Decorating Kit to take home. Costumes are not required but are encouraged. Please plan to wear a mask while participating, and social distancing measures will be observed.
