Your animal will go wild at the library playing with our games and toys with all of their animal friends! When you pick your animal up the next day, Saturday, September 16th, you'll hear all about their sleepover adventures. Make sure to check the library's website and Facebook page to see what the animals were up to all night. Only one animal per child please.

You must register first for the September 21st program by calling the Library at 217-483-2713. The fun takes place from 1:00 - 2:30, so write it in your diary (sorry - your journal). Don't wimp out!

The Great Depression has hit West Virginia hard.  Men are out of work; women struggle to feed hungry children. Luckily Nurse Becky Myers has returned to care for them. While she can handle most situations, Becky is still uneasy helping women deliver their babies. For these mothers-to-be, Becky relies on an experienced midwife, her dear friend Patience Murphy.
