There are many ways to support the Chatham Area Public Library District. We've listed some ideas below, but you may have others. If you would like to donate to the library in any way, please call or stop by the library and let us know.
A book in the library is a wonderful way to honor someone else. The library will purchase the book and add a bookplate with your specified inscription. For more information, Amy Ihnen, Director.
Donations of any amount are welcome and will be used to purchase new materials for the library, including adult, children, young adult and large print books; CDs; DVDs; and newspaper, magazine, or database subscriptions. Please specify if you would like your donation to be used for a particular collection.
Gifts to the Foundation
When you contribute to the Chatham Library Foundation, the money is placed in a fund. These monies are prudently invested, and is used to finance special library needs. The easiest and most common way to give to the Foundation is through a gift of cash. A contribution given in memory of a loved one is a wonderful tribute, a living memorial that will continue to give through the generations. Special occasions such as anniversaries, graduations, and births can be noted with a charitable gift. Contributions made to the Foundation can also be made through bequests in your will. In addition to providing the satisfaction of helping the library in a sustained way, a contribution to the Chatham Public Library Foundation is tax deductible to the full extent provided by law. For more information, please check out the Foundation page on our website.
